As an organization, a team and a community asset, Propel is committed to moving forward with a carefully constructed, purposeful Recovery and Revitalization Plan that will be defined by equity, academic rigor, holistic support, performance recognition and high-levels of engagement from all stakeholders. The choices we collectively make over the next few years will be vital to our success and key in fulfilling our mission. Traditionally, a strategic plan is an organizational roadmap, providing direction, defining priorities and outlining resources necessary to meet goals. Although Propel was on-track to create an updated 5 year strategic plan to begin in August 2021, the pandemic provided a powerful catalyst to temporarily set aside a traditional strategic plan in favor of a multi-year plan that will prioritize the ways our school communities will rebound, reboot and reflect our dedication to our mission. Although this Recovery and Revitalization Plan is similar to a traditional strategic plan (in the sense that it provides direction and outlines priorities), it is decidedly unique in the way it will provide a systemic, holistic and data-based approach to reenergizing school communities through and beyond the pandemic. After carefully aggregating all of the data and identifying key areas of need, five important Action Teams have been identified to carry out the work, progress, and development of the Recovery and Revitalization Plan which was presented to the Board of Trustees for approval in June 2021. These teams include the: MTSS Team, Attendance Team, DEI Team, Staff Diversity and Retention Team and the Operations and Safety Team. These five teams will be responsible for updating and monitoring the progress of the Action Plan components for 2021-2024 and providing feedback to the Senior Leadership Team and Board of Trustees. |
